These come in very handy in sizes 8x12 and 11x16, I've used vacuum bags to vacuum seal sliced smoked pork lion and they work great for both freezing and storing Warm up in sous vide mode. much more convenient than vacuum bag material.

Practical for storing leftovers for freezing. I recommend freezing liquid foods in the bag before sealing (so the liquid doesn't get sucked up by the vacuum cleaner when sealing). Briefly remove from the freezer before sealing (so the opening of the bag thaws but the contents remain frozen).

As other reviews have noted the sachets have no writing space compared to FoodSaver sachets. Otherwise, the quality is comparable and at a lower price. Someone said it's thinner. Maybe, but then again the packaging works, is well sealed, doesn't tear/burst or leak. The cost per bag is quite low and more convenient. I can no longer use the role.

Slightly thinner than Food Saver pouches, but I've used quite a few and never had a single failure - neither with packaging nor with freezing or thawing. I bought a roll of sealing material that had to be cut to length and then sealed on both ends. For some reason I was never able to get any of the packages I cut to seal. So I bought these pouches that were pre-sealed on one end. Still a bit clunky to use, but they seal great. I'll run out of these quickly as I mainly use them to store meat. On their own, they can easily buy larger packs (at a lower price per pound) and break up meat, fish or whatever into individual portions. I can take a 10…

Used for sous vide, vacuumed and sealed on a brand new Foodsaver. The package appeared to be sealed, threw the chicken in the sous vide and the package opened up immediately ruining my marinade and cooking and contaminating the sous vide water! I cleaned everything, marinated the food and used a different bag. No imprint. Tried over and over, ended up going through SIX packs, even tried the "double seal" trick a few times but never got a full seal. So far there seems to be one grocery bag left…
