Good suction and seal. But. After a day or two in the fridge or freezer, it loses its vacuum seal. I will use them as pockets to store secondary items. I'm so disappointed I thought I found great quality :(

These bags are really good and good for grocery savers. Like other reviewers, they wish they had a white stripe on the outside of the bag to mark to make a note of what's inside. The durability is good, the price is good. When the time comes, I will order again.

I was skeptical when I saw them online but gave them a try anyway. MY GOD! You are wonderful. I no longer have to make a bag first like I had to do when I bought the Food Saver brand buns (saves a ton of $$ too). Saves time and much easier to use. Works great even with my 10 year old Food Saver machine.

Just tried the packs and they work great. My ONLY issue: I wanted them to have a place to label them. Tip: I have Seal-a-Meal. As you can see in my photos, the bags have an opaque side with a waffle texture and an almost transparent and smooth side. My advice for a better seal is to attach the transparent side to the heating element. I tried this method after reading some feedback from users who had problems sealing the package. size 8"x12" is suitable for most animal parts. I cut some bags in half to make two smaller bags (8" x 6") for small things like tenders. Since I have to butcher the whole animal at once, they should keep well in my freezer for up to three years.
