This hat fits perfectly, doesn't absorb odors or sweat. It doesn't have salt lines like most hats. I've had one for 3 years, have now swapped it out. Many years ago I had an old Oakley hat and it was my favorite baseball cap. It fitted my head and hugged the contour of my head just right. I also like hats that fit snugly - they don't loosen up over time like some that have a clasp at the back. I bought this hat for my husband and oh my god so hot! I've attached some photos! I measured his head starting just above his eyebrows, just above his ears and ending at the back of his head where his hats usually sit. Then I put 1 finger between the tape measure and his forehead to loosen the tape a little and read the tape. Fits perfectly! The only thing wrong with the hat is that it has a damn big label inside the back of the hat that easily pops out if you put the hat on backwards. You want
