Maybe it's not hot-press paper

Maybe it's just me, but I've always thought that hot-press paper is pretty smooth and cold-press paper is very textured. However, this paper is very structured and not what I expected or wanted. Just know this when purchasing and you will be fine.

Good watercolor paper for beginners

This paper is good but not the best. I have used other student papers that were cheaper and seemed to be of better quality. It has a light texture that I wasn't expecting. It was nice that it was spiral bound and perforated, but be careful when tearing off the pages so you don't tear the sheet.

Pros
  • Crafts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Available in Black only

Perfect watercolor paper!

I bought this paper for my daughter. She got the watercolor pencils for Christmas and we quickly realized that the acrylic paper we had just wouldn't work. After reading a lot I decided to do it. I'm happy to say that everything went great! The paper holds colors well, doesn't get wet or spread! It's thick paper and the colors don't transfer to the other side. This is a great value for a beginner. I will definitely come back to buy more!

Cons
