Oatey 38941 Plastic Faceplate Quadtro Review

Fits perfectly! My house was built in 1991 and originally had Oatey flooring. Obviously you'll have to cut a hole in the wall to get the old washing machine's outlet out, so I decided to use a cover. This made it more modern.

This product was the perfect size and helped hide a rather ugly box that previous homeowners had left behind. It didn't fix the fact that the box was uneven, but it did make the edges incredibly clean. Now I don't have to look at the ugly crack in the drywall anymore.

Inside Measurements Left to Right 8.5 inches. Inside measurement from top to bottom, 7 inches. These measurements are the hole size. Dimensions left to right, 11.75 inches. Top to bottom 10.25 inches. Deck width 1 and 9/16 inch. Quality product but I ordered the wrong size for my application.

The front panel was missing from the junction box in "my new house”. The dimensions for this seemed correct, but I didn't know what brand or model I needed. However, my house is about the same age as Christie H and my box looks identical, so I took a chance on this one. Unfortunately it was too big for my box so I had to cut and glue it. The junction box looks a lot better now, but I wish there was a way to find the bezel I need.
