🤿 Oceanic Mini Shadow Dive Mask Review

I love the mask. My last mask was lost coming out of a small river cave. Fits great in a small package. I dive into the shadows as usual and use the Mini as a backup.

Bought two for a friend in Mexico who is a scuba instructor and instructor and dives almost daily. He swears by this mask and doesn't like to dive with anything else.

Mini eyeshadows are perfect for a small female face. It took a bit of work to remove the factory coating. I used a lighter to light the mask a few times, used another diver's hot ashes but once the cover was removed I had no fogging issues. I have been diving with this mask since January 2013 and have done over 100 dives with it and it still works very well. Definitely a great buy!

Good mask but when ordering I didn't notice that the strap is made of some kind of fabric, not silicone. It looked like a good harness with an integrated harness pocket, but it came loose in the water after a short time and the mask kept leaking. I think it will shrink again when dry because even when putting it on it has leaked back in the water between uses. Luckily I had a spare silicone strap to replace the fabric strap with. The mask is probably good quality but I received what appeared to be a used one and will be returning it for the following reasons: 1. The protective cover was very dirty. Not only dusty, but also simply dirty. At first I thought I was going to leave the mask anyway so I washed the box but then I noticed the following issues: 2. There was a big scratch on the mask.
