is a great leash that allows our little dog to play a little on the patio while still providing some protection from predators.

The spring on the latch is so weak my dog can pull it out with very little effort. He'd snapped at least a dozen times in the past two weeks.

Great long leash for my dog. I had to replace a short leash I gave to a friend and this is perfect when I need to walk my dog on a long leash. It has enough space to walk around without getting out of sight. It is well made and stable and a great product.

Lasted 2 weeks before breaking. I have a small Lab on a zipline, so there's a lot of "kickback" in the system - not like it's tied to a peg and constantly pulling until it breaks. Broke off 2 inches from the collar so I know she didn't chew it.

I have bought several cotton fabrics in the past but I prefer nylon. It holds up better in the rain and isn't as heavy. I was under the impression (from the description) that it would be ¾ inch wide. What I received was 1 inch wide. Ideally, I would have preferred to wrap ⅝ inches wide around my arm, but that was too wide for me. I had to return it.

This material is MUCH thinner than I thought it would be, but it's great for just tying the dog up in the yard while we work in the yard. This probably isn't the kind of leash you want to take to the park or beach, as a strong wind can blow them off unless you're holding the whole fabric in your hands, which can be a handful. I might try a retractable leash for parks and beach trips.

The metal clasp broke when my dog jumped at passers-by. Luckily she was just as surprised as I was when the cable broke and I managed to run to her and grab her harness. The rest of the material looks good. I give it three stars because my 90lb Shepherd is very strong and ran 5ft before I was able to wrap the cord around my arm and didn't break the nylon just broke the metal clasp. It should still not have failed after only two days of use.
