🪵 Odie's Wood Butter 9oz - Enhance and protect wood surfaces with Odie's Oil Review

I used Odie oil, worked well but didn't like the end result. So after about a week I used wood oil to "coat" Odie's oil and the wood oil worked great. I would recommend using Odie oil and then adding wood oil.

Easy to use, refreshes 50 year old Hawaiian salad bowls and 110 year old salad bowls with ebony handles. Someone put my great grandparents' salad bowls in the dishwasher and the ebony looked awful. That helped!

Used on a live edge piece of wood for a mantel. It worked great. The small glass covered a 9" x 13' piece leaving about 1/2 of the glass. I will be re-coating in the future but for now it's perfect. Doesn't give the plasticky look that many polyurethanes have! the decision, that I met for my conversion!

I was hesitant to buy it because of the price for such a small jar. But so far I've made a 60" long table and a 24" coffee table and hardly used enough to even notice the level in the can has gone down. Small things have a big impact. In any case, it is excellent value for money.

I purchased this product after using a regular woodturning finish a few times and after watching several videos online of using this finish on a guitar. The finish is very easy to use and looks and feels really great. I applied a coat over the hardened regular Odies oil. Everything by hand. It looks especially good on a rosewood fretboard. Doesn't drag around your neck when playing, perfect high satin sheen. Highly recommended!
