Description of Odyssey Stroke Black Putter Oversize

The Odyssey Stroke Lab Bird Of Prey Putter provides our best performance technologies in a distinct new mallet shape to help every golfer make more putts. The innovative multi-material Stroke Lab shaft completely rebalances the putter for improved tempo and consistency in the stroke. Exceptionally high MOI comes from a multi-material construction, making them extremely stable and forgiving on off-center impacts. The new Micro hinge Star Insert provides a firmer feel and enhanced sound at impact while maintaining the same roll benefits of our Tour-proven White Hot Micro hinge Insert. Our High Def Alignment makes it easy for golfers to aim better at address, a critical component to better and more consistent putting.

Excellent Golf Club

Club purchased after visiting and playing with a local golf club. It felt well balanced and the ball rolled properly on impact. Played round 1 hitting 4 putts over 15ft, 2 of them from 20+ feet. Short shots were automatic and long shots always kept me within 3ft. The best club I have ever used and I have been playing golf for 40 years.

Too light for my liking

I wanted to try these odd shaped clubs and see how they look. I usually use typical blade/hammer mallets. This stick certainly looks cool, but doesn't look too alien. At first glance, the ball didn't seem as smooth as I would have liked. I ended up returning this stick for the Scotty Cameron Squareback. Between them, the squareback seemed to have a better roll than the Odyssey. Also, I found the Odyssey a little light. It has adjustable weights, but I didn't think changing them would help.

Unwanted stick, keep shopping!

I decided to buy a new stick and after doing some research online I settled on Odyssey's Stroke Lab Rossie. I had to trust my intuition that any company that makes 100 new racquets a year (just a slight exaggeration) while still selling the original that made them famous (Snow White), everything else is marketing crap. does it look nice Yes. Is it perfect in your hands? Yes. But the Rossie was without a doubt the most embarrassing purchase I've ever made. I've played 90 holes with him and hit…
