Good value kit

Good kit for replacing aluminum disc bearings. They are very versatile as they can be used on both sides. One is flat, the other conical and stepped. If you're installing something big like wheel bearings, they're worth it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No instructions

Good price body repair tools

They are aluminum as they should be. You don't need a material hard enough to damage the bearings you intend to install. The handle is made of steel. Must still be used and will be updated if not enough. The case is miserable, the tools will shift inward.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Big and bulky

So glad I got these

I've had several brands of these bearing installer and racer kits and they are really good. Better than most out there. Makes wheel hub conversions much easier and without damaging anything. Also, it comes with a case so there is no problem to keep them together and where you need them. Highly recommended

Good quality metal and true to size

I measured the collars with a digital caliper and found 8/9 to be just the right size. The smallest of them was only slightly off. They are excellent for almost all types of seals. I took off one star because of the plastic case. The case doesn't include a collar or stylus at all. They arrived disorganized and moved about in transit. Because of this, they were scratched and looked used, but there was nothing significant about that.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

  • Not bad but...

Does what it should.

A decent tool at a reasonable price. I bought this set to replace all the races, bearings and seals on my tandem axle boat trailer. I chose this particular set because it's the same as my local Autozone loaner program, but their set is broken as hell and rubbish. In any case. I knew it would suit my needs and it worked well. Then I had to do bearings, races and seals on my father's single-axle trailer and it worked great again. The case could be improved, but at least it's there. Overall I am…

Great tool! in Tools & Equipment

This tool did a great job installing new bearing cups on my trailer hubs! I used a hard plastic mallet to control the tool so as not to damage it. I also used a thin layer of grease in the hub. I started installing the clips with a block of wood until they were flush with the hub. I found it easier to keep the race right in the hub this way. After flushing, I rode the remaining races with this tool. I didn't use a metal hammer. Before doing this, I removed the old bearing rings by pressing a…
