Bought this for my home office. I've had a smaller desk for a long time and have outgrown it because I not only used it for teleworking from home, but also used it to do my makeup every morning. Table is solid when fully assembled. The table top is a durable composite wood laminate. If you tap it, you will feel its power. If you want a sense of stability then this table is for you.
