This chair is made from natural wood with a great finish and nice comfortable cushion. I highly recommend this chair, especially for the price. BUT the wheels that come with the chair are terrible! I've only used them on a smooth wooden floor and so far 3 of them haven't worked, anyway. The hub holding the wheels on the reel breaks and the wheels come off! If you can buy a set of casters or have a spare ready to fit I would recommend that. The chair is wonderful. Too bad the wheels are so cheap

This chair is mainly for beauty. Not to say it's not functional, but it's nicer than functional. Sitting on the edge is not recommended as it may tip over. I wouldn't recommend leaning on your hands as they can become loose. I would not recommend it for heavy people. The wheels are easy to assemble if you follow the instructions and use a rubber mallet with the small piece of wood that is provided. If you don't have a mallet, wrap a regular hammer in a washcloth and use the hammer on the side.

Chair fell apart after three months. Normal assembly isn't too difficult, except that the hex holes in the bolts holding the lift mechanism to the underside of the seat were rounded off using the hex key provided.
