So far so good. I completed my first project using this decorative ribbon and found it very successful.

used some strips to attach snare wires to my snare drum. works wonderfully. I like it better than regular nylon strips because it's more flexible and doesn't hold the snare as close to the head when it's off.

Our Scout squad uniform requires white ties to be sewn on to indicate roles/duties. Satin ribbon doesn't sew/hold well, but this grosgrain ribbon is great for that. Also durable so it can snag on a branch etc and won't snap or snap. Very happy with it.

I thought it would be a bit more pliable and like fabric. I have another similar grit ribbon so I was surprised at how stiff/synthetic it felt, like the kind you would use for gift wrapping. I only paid less than $2 but now I see the prices have skyrocketed. If you're going to wrap gifts in it or want to use it and another craft container that it's glued in, I'm sure it's fine, but not for sewing loops.
