Assembling a fly swatter is a stupid idea. I didn't know when I bought it that it had to be assembled. The way they're put together means that if you try to force hit a bug with a few swings, the "slap" part of the fly swatter will fly away. Terrible design.

This fly swatter is weak. It's so flexible it's hard to swing fast enough to hit a fly. The handles are also flimsy plastic. I bought another fly swatter from a reputable discount store for 94 cents with a metal handle and a larger, stronger head that works very well. They are just poorly designed and definitely NOT worth the money. We strongly recommend buying something else.

This product looks great, but as far as it's really useful it's useless. The fly swatter is too soft so when you swing to catch a fly it flips over and you actually hit the end of the handle next to the fly then the black part of the fly swatter lands a second later preventing the fly from escaping. Hitting with the fly swatter when it's bounced gives you a small chance of success if you swing at the right speed, not fast or slow. But if you use the concave side you will never get a fly. My…
