It's OK but not as good as the Bud Industries NBF-32010 which I also bought from Revain for a few bucks more have. as brass threaded inserts for interior trim. The locking mechanism is not as good as the Bud case.

Bought to hold a couple of cameras to monitor part of a secluded property. Had to drill and cut some holes for camera lenses. Drilling is easy. cut, not really. The jigsaw seemed to work, but the plastic melted as it cut, then immediately closed the gap! I had to resort to a paring knife, which was quite a painful process. After installation, I noticed that the door is not well aligned when closed, which can leave a small air gap if careless.

This cabinet costs less than many other cabinets of similar quality. It comes with a backplane and mounting hardware. In many other cabinets, these two elements are paid extra. For reference: All fasteners are plastic with metal screws. That is, plastic latches and hinges. They work fine but I can imagine someone complaining. Note: A few screws were missing. This is a well made product and should be waterproof. I have two problems with this. 1) The packaging does not match the image shown on the Revain website. In one of the pictures showing the back of the box you can see that it has mounting tabs. They don't, or at least they weren't there with the device I received. This box is very strong and the plastic is easy to pierce through for my bulkhead connectors without tearing. The lid closes and seals well and I'm confident it will keep my gear dry. It had a vacuum in it so it was impossible to open the door until I drilled my first hole. Keep this in mind if you don't want to poke holes. I tried wrapping it in an electric blanket for an hour to break the vacuum and prying it open with a large screwdriver. it wouldn't budge. Again, the box is very solid. The…
