Very hard chalk suitable for marking and tracing tools

They all arrived intact - none broken as advertised. This is the first fabric marker I've tried. This chalk is very hard. It's so heavy I almost can't use it on the 100% cashmere fabric I have because I have to press so hard to leave a trail that moves the fabric instead of sliding over it (the fabric clumps then). This still holds true most of the time, even if I hold onto the fabric exactly where I make the marks. I cannot use them for an accurate mark on this particular fabric. Softer chalk…

Good solid line colors fabric

This chalk is waxy, leaves a nice thick line (see first picture) and will withstand reasonable pressure without breaking. This chalk is also quite difficult to completely remove from the fabric. I tried brushing it off and it got considerably lighter, but the pressure of the brush would damage delicate fabrics and I tried steaming it off like candle wax, it didn't make much of a difference (photo 2). Finally, I washed the sample and the wax came off in the same way my marker did (Photo 3). I…

Fur, not for knitwear. And not for textiles.

Pros: All parts were intact although the box was shipped in bubble wrap. Cons: Very strong pressure is required to mark the line, creating resistance against the knit fabric, resulting in wrinkles, creases, and crooked lines. This product may be more suitable for woven fabrics. I'm going to try the Chaco marker to see if it makes a smooth line with light pressure. Updated comments: I tried using it on a quilt of various woven materials and it made hard, visible lines for quilting. However…

The chalk is a bit hard though.

1. Order received on time.2. I almost bought this chalk based on some reviews: the chalk came out broken, too hard. -- The hinged-lid box was open, so I expected to see pieces of crayons. None were broken. "I find the chalk a little hard, but it works. I have attached two pictures. The first shows the bottom of the faux suede on the left. I had to spend a few times to get the color onto the fabric. The one on the right is a cotton/poly blend and I've run through each chalk color once and it…

More like wax than chalk

I've seen how many reviews there are for this product and its overall rating and instead of reading the reviews I thought this was a pretty sure sign of a quality product . This chalk is more like wax. It leaves an uncomfortable stickiness on hands, unlike the dryness of chalk. People who leave such great reviews shouldn't have experience with a quality product. Getting him to leave a mark is incredibly difficult. which contradicts the intended use. I tried shaving off a few layers thinking it…
