Ohaus SPX222 Scout Analytical Balance Review

Very accurate and easy to calibrate when needed. Easy to use, beautiful design and very well built. I'll have to see if it holds up but looks like it's supposed to. Good job Ohouse.

I'm not an expert but I've been using this scale 5 or more times a week for several weeks and it seems to be working perfectly to the hundredth of a gram. It takes some time to balance (I used a spirit level in addition to the built-in bubble), but the scale is easy to use. And you can add small increments until you reach your desired item weight. I spent more than I planned and got more than I expected.

Item received on time and in good condition. First I liked the product. Excellent ad. Nice features. Ability to measure objects at the bottom of the device with a hanging load. The instructions were easy and it didn't take long to calibrate. Separate legs where scales can be leveled. Wide measuring surface made of steel. But the grain scale accuracy was not very sensitive and I was not sure of its readings. I use two other scales that I need to compare measurements and they have proven to be…
