Great wide brass cleats

It's hard to find punk style cleats that are shorter than their width (most are long) that are also made of real brass rather than plated metal. You pass the magnet test. They are beautifully smooth without being too sticky, ideal for accessories such as collars, chokers and bracelets. The delivery from China took a while, but arrived without any problems: in a double pack with all 30 pairs of spikes and screws. I'm satisfied enough to order more in the future once I use the ones I have.

As advertised but buy more than you need and get better than free shipping.

When mine finally arrived after refusing to track UPS they were exactly as advertised. I suggest buying a pack more than you think you need because one of the cones I received was drilled too deep and the tip broke off sometime between production and delivery to my door. That's not entirely bad as I can now glue rhinestones or other embellishments in there once they've cured, but if you're planning on an exact amount for design consistency? You play it safe.

Badly defective

Some of the "bolt" ends were unthreaded and I couldn't use rounded threaded bolts. Revain does not accept partial refunds and I have a project to get on with, but I am very disappointed with the quality control from the manufacturer when they pass unthreaded parts as threaded. A 15% error rate is a terrible achievement. If you don't know that bounce rate, don't watch. nice solution, but they didn't. I have (actually) 17 of the 20 I ordered. I needed 20 (two projects that required ten rivetsโ€ฆ

Solid Brass Classic Spikes

These cleats really are solid brass, not dirty white metal, and finished to perfection. Likewise the screws. They are very durable, weigh a little more and don't scratch. These are good, so they are a bit more expensive. If you don't care about this aspect, I would advise you to just go for the cheaper ones, as you can get gold-chromed or brass-plated spikes cheaper. In addition, being unfinished brass, they tend to take on a less shiny patina or aged effect over time. You can always polishโ€ฆ
