Very nice set but the ornament on the front of the tin does not sit flush and looks like it will fall off over time. I expected better quality for this price.

I am busy building a new kitchen for my cousin after he lost his house in a fire. His new kitchen features black appliances and black and gray granite countertops. This red kitchen set - I also bought a cookie jar to match - is exactly what the kitchen doctor ordered. Every kitchen needs a lucky rooster and bright colors. This set offers both and is a good weight. I highly recommend these products.

I love this set! It is very well made and looks great. The reason I only gave it 4 stars was because the lids are either difficult to remove (which is a good thing in some ways) or very difficult to put back on. The rubber rim is only a fraction of an inch larger and you really have to be careful to put the cap on perfectly straight and then you have to push the rubber in a bit more to make it move. Would I buy them again? Yes I would.

Our old ceramic canister set had a crack in the lid of the large canister 3-4 years ago and we are trying to find a set that actually held 5 pounds of flour etc , was difficult at best. When I was growing up, my mom had a steel or aluminum set and I could never find a replacement for it. It helps that my husband's favorite color is red and he's looked elsewhere in Revain for rooster-decorated canister sets. DAS fully meets the requirements. And it works like a dream.

The set is great. Sturdy and very light which is great as the largest is quite large. I keep rice in it and if the container weighed a lot it would be hard to hold on to. When I first got them I was concerned the lids would be difficult for little ones to remove, but after a few uses they work really well. The pattern on the metal ornament is a little less noticeable and the nail that attaches it to the container is painted over so it looks a little different than the ornament, but not bad. I…
