GREAT BUY - Kettle

I am a big tea lover. This kettle is everything and more than I expected. Comfortable elegant shape. Holds enough water. The spout is long enough so that the steam does not come into contact with your hand when pouring and allows the right amount of water to flow slowly over the tea. The handle stays at room temperature, eliminating the need for potholders. The finish stayed the same. I recommend to everyone.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Legacy model

Functional but disappointing

Really glad I paid $35 compared to the 'original' price of $100+! Inside nickel-plated. Handle: probably black lacquered wood. When the pen heats up, does the paint melt? I had sticky paint on my hands and hot mittens no matter how I held the hot pen. The screw holding the lid's wooden handle is already rusted. I bought this pot about a month ago. Outwardly attractive, but think it's a fake? Functional but disappointing.

  • Nice
Cons
  • Crumpled

It's made out of fairly thin metal

After only a few months the handle hardware came loose. It cannot be tightened as it is fixed with rivets. The handle is wooden and only comes off when opening and closing the lid, which can be quite a challenge. I'm going to glue the handle back on and hope it holds. It's made out of pretty thin metal. It really isn't premium, but it's a beautiful thing that draws attention. I think it should be a little cheaper but I'm still glad to have it.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Good looking but not top quality

This teapot looks great. But that's about as far as it gets. I've had it for about a month now and the first few times I used it the black coating on the handle rubbed off on my oven mitt as the handle got too hot to handle without a hand guard. The rest of the kettle is still in good condition, no leaks, starting to fade (because I didn't copper plate and clean it properly) but I like the patina. So all in all it's ok, not a great product but not super terrible either.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Reliable

Ideal for me: Kettle

I like this kettle. I bought copper polish to go with it and it shone beautifully, looks new and I used it on our French Press multiple times a day for about two weeks. I have no problem with the handle never getting hot, the lid comes off pretty easily, I like that it's secure enough that it doesn't pop out when the water starts to boil and doesn't fall on my hand, when I pour water. (there were several dummies with this problem). However, there seem to be inconsistencies in the product and it

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are cons

DON'T THINK OUTSIDE!

This is the worst kettle I have ever had in my life and I buy Target kettles, nothing special! Since we drink a lot of tea, I thought it was worth investing in a good teapot with all the benefits that the creators of this article claim. First, opening and closing the lid is a struggle. Most of the time, despite wiggling and pulling, I can't get the top open on the first three tries, and end up knocking it down a few times and trying to pull it out while wiggling. The paint on the small round…

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Trade in
