This is the best tool for opening boxes that are taped all over! Sharp blade, comes with a nice cap so you don't cut yourself if you accidentally drop it or something. Just a great tool!

I use this to remove prints from the build plate of my 3D printer. The sharp edge penetrates the prints and makes them easy to pry open. I used a whetstone to blunt the corners of the blade to prevent the kapton tape from being pushed out on the print bed.
