This was a convenient and inexpensive way to learn the basics of quilting. I wish spare cutting blades were included though as I suspect they won't be easy to find.

Great starter set! I like the mat and the big disc cutter, I haven't used the small one yet. Super sharp, I've cut myself before! But a very good sentence. Highly recommended for anyone just starting out in quilting or designing a lot.

I gave this set of 2 circular knives and cutting mat to my daughter. So far she has mainly used it to cut paper, but she will also use it to cut fabric (e.g. to make fabric squares for a quilt). I was a bit disappointed that the smaller disc cutter is quite small (I don't have one that small for example) but the larger one is a good size.

I used one of the disc blades and it came out a lot cleaner than I thought. I didn't use all of the items in the package. It was exactly as described and overall I am very happy with it. However, for the manufacturers I have one negative comment - the rubber of the mat is VERY stinky with a bad plastic/rubber smell. Other users of this product tell me it takes years for this smell to go away, hence my advice: please try something about it. It was so bad that I kept it in my garage at first…
