    Don't stay sharp. Very disappointed.

I thought it was the original from Olfa but now I'm not sure. These blades didn't stay sharp for long, especially like my Olfas in the yellow box. I had to change these blades after cutting very little fabric. I will not buy these again. Very disappointed.

    Pros
    • Durable test results
    Cons
    • You could have chosen a newer model

    Inconsistent

I thought it might be the same as the Olfa blades I usually buy at a fabric store which are more expensive. The first blade I used didn't cut well so I replaced it, assuming it was an accident. The second was great for a while, but showed signs fairly early on of not cutting through the fabric completely (the second project I've used them on). Hard to understand. Both are made in Japan.

    Pros
    • Comfortable to use
    Cons
    • old

    Holds less than standard blades

Finally tried it. Carbon steel over 5-1! Required to cut some abrasive material that fills reg blades after about 10ft 5ft when resharpened. These blades cut approximately 150 feet for sharpening. 1000 feet. In total. The shell is worn out. Cutting Blades will be anywhere from 150 to 200 with a few sharpenings. Ordinary materials (mainly leather) just don't tarnish and slide much better.

    Pros
    • Quality construction
    Cons
    • Requires outlet
