I'm obsessed with perlite. But I think.

I'm obsessed with perlite. But I have found that it makes my tongue sensitive. Finding something comparable was a difficult task. Any ideas?

in fact they taste like slate sticks BUT if you prefer white slate sticks.

They really do taste like slate pencils BUT if you prefer white slate pencils to natural slate pencils you won't like them very much. If you are more into natural slate pencils, you will really like them. And if you're planning on buying them, invest in a hammer, lol.

Great taste

I love the slates! I have pikacism and crave mortar, so I was looking for something equally solid with the taste of cement. It's great, but very difficult. I just soaked it in water for a minute or two and it still crunches but the teeth aren't cracking. Not sweet and leaves no unpleasant aftertaste. The quantity is small but it says 8 ounces and it arrived just 1 day after I ordered it.
