Good Blade: Power Tool Parts & Accessories

Bought to saw through some 3-6" walnut and maple panels on my 12" Delta Bandsaw. It worked wonderfully! Clean cuts, no burns, and the last cut looked just as good as the first.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Fits

Wrong size on band saws

This should be an 82 inch saw blade. It was actually 82 3/4.82, as big as my saw could handle. This is the second canvas I've tried. The first was also too big. Does Olson have quality control?

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

6 inch hardwood saw currently

Looks like a solid blade. Delivery was quick. The first step was to saw through a 6 inch cherry and a smaller maple. Cuts great on both. The weld appears to be well done. I guess I'll see how long this takes, but so far so good.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some small things

Waited too long to buy a new blade

I used the thin blade on my jet band saw to cut something. This blade is way better than the ones I've used. I haven't used this blade very much so I can't comment on its durability but for what I used it for it was worth the money (albeit small) for a blade that appears to be quality for a home shop . I would not hesitate to buy this blade again based on my early use and experience.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Great bandsaw blade

I have a whole bunch of 2x and 1x leftovers in my carpentry shop. I attached a 1/2" blade to my bandsaw and am now turning all the 2x and 1x scraps into 1/4" and 1/2" blanks for making small projects, no for this kind going to a wood store to have to do the work. thin material. It works very well. I also have a 12" Delta band saw with an 82" saw blade, these are often hard to find so having another source for one is very good.

Pros
  • Superior hardened and upgraded material - blade stronger and faster
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

THE BEST BAND SAW BLADES

I HAVE DELTA DISC; THIS TIME HOWEVER I WOULD GO WITH THE OLSON 1/2" BAND SAW WHICH SHOULD SERVE AS MOST OTHER SIZES. THE COMPANY THAT SHIPPED THE AIRPRO BLADE HAS IT PROFESSIONALLY PACKAGED AND ARRIVES IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. DELTA WAS POORLY PACKAGED AND ARRIVAL LOOKING LIKE NO CARE IN THE PACKAGING THE OLSON BLADE LOOKS STRONGER THAN THE DELTA BLADE MAKING THE BUSINESS MORE PROFITABLE FOR OLSON WAS THE COST THE SAME PRODUCT WAS CHEAPER THAN THE DELTA BLADE SHIPPED.

Pros
  • Unique carbon steel - the perfect balance of strength and flexibility
Cons
  • Some little things
