Olson FB14593DB 6 TPI Blade 2 Inch Review

As a woodworking teacher and experienced woodworker I can honestly say these blades are fantastic value for money. I've tried several other brands in the same price range and have found that Olson blades stay sharp much longer than others and provide much better cuts. As a small business owner I'm looking for the best value for money and these band saws are the way to go. I have cut, sawed and shaped a lot of wood in my gaming line of work and am always amazed at how long these blades last.

I am an experienced home builder and bought this blade to cut white oak with a 14" Grizzly G0555 band saw. After installing, tensioning and adjusting I found it tracked perfectly. straight and offered a good combination of cutting speed, wood removal speed and finish. Although I only cut about 20 linear feet of oak with this blade, I am very pleased with the results and would recommend it to anyone considering buying a blade. for a similar purpose.

Just replaced the standard blade on my 14" Porter corded band saw. The difference between day and night. I had no idea, this thing cuts through camp like a hot knife through butter (sorry, I should have said that). With this blade, the saw is quieter and better balanced. I bought this blade to replace a Bosch blade that I bought in a big store. This blade was twice the price but 10 times better. The Bosch blade had more than an inch of deflection. The Olson blade cuts much straighter. I also love the fact that the Olson blade cuts through 4/4 thick oak like butter. The box's large blade required much more power for the same cut. I've used Bosch band saws for years because they were locally available, but I've always ordered Olson spiral saw blades. Well I decided to try Olson band saws and the difference between them is day and night. I will be picking up the 4 blades I ordered from Lowes because I just can't go back to Bosch after using Olson's blade. Why?
