Great blade for cutting! good for power tools and hand tools

I accidentally bought a 1/2" x 6 tpi saw blade to cut some 1" x 4" poplar planks about 5 feet long Fox W1706, it has a full Took me a while since I couldn't feed them very quickly and keep a clean cut (yes the blade and guides were set correctly) world! The feed rate doubled and I got a very even thickness. I even bought replacements. :)

Used item? - Bandsaws

I don't often buy bandsaws, but what came wasn't exactly what I expected. The box had one side open with the tape on it and I'm pretty sure the blade shouldn't have been pre-treated with the tool oil in the box. The box is obviously soiled with oil, the ties holding it together are gnawed and obviously not new, and there are marks on the blade and what looks like small metal shavings or something. Strangely, the teeth are still sharp and I don't see much wear on them, but I have a strong…

Not comparable to wood plane

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this blade. If you are looking for a cheap saw blade, just go to Highland Woodworking, spend $20 more and get a Wood Slicer blade. This Olson is not a game. It felt sharp, but when I started sawing through 4-5 inch chunks of cherry and walnut, the feed rate required was so low that I had to bend over the cut and push it through. It didn't seem safe to me. The teeth appear very jagged because sawing through a walnut or cherry gives a very rough surface…

Cuts well, added some vibration to my car.

cuts great, literally thousands of cuts in a week, about 3,000 5" cuts in 3/4" air dried white pine, 6,000 cross cuts of about a half inch in the same pine. The only reason I knocked the sprocket off is it was causing a lot of vibration, it didn't seem to affect the cut but did cause some of the fasteners to loosen in a non-critical area of the machine. I suspect the vibration is coming from the weld. I would buy this brand again and recommend it wholeheartedly, my blade still has plenty of…

Cuts pear like butter

Needed a 1/2" sliding tooth blade for my 14" band saw to do a little cutting. The price was good for this size so I gave it a try. After methodically adjusting every aspect of my bandsaw when I installed this blade, it began to cut beautifully. The first tree was small pear branches I rescued from a friend's fallen tree. The blade didn't seem to like it, slicing a surprisingly smooth edge into chunks. It would almost be possible to sand them smooth instead of running them through a plane (but I

Watch out for the leaf drift, AMAZING BLADE!

A few months ago I bought a jet band saw and tried EVERYTHING (almost everything) to get the blade to drift perfectly. I watched hours of videos online trying to solve this problem. I've bought new blades from a local blade company (they made it locally) and even tried upgrading to new top and bottom guides. I tried to pull the blade less and less, but nothing helped. it was my last effort to sell a new blade and then the bandsaw. but it worked, it tracked the true and accurate first try! I…

Excellent for sawing. Take it. end disappointment.

I bought this saw blade based on an Amazon customer who posted a review in March 2019. Like him, I was completely disappointed with my previous sawing attempts. I couldn't get a straight cut! I have an old Ridgid band saw but it hasn't been used much. It wasn't abuse. I have a couple of good quality blades but apparently I didn't have the right one. I have a band saw fence sold by Hartville Tools to help with this process. No matter what I did, all cuts were ugly and everywhere. In a fit of…
