Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

The main advantage is a wide range of applications, covering a focal length from 80 to 300 mm (in terms of a full frame). The lens is valuable in that it gives very good image quality, combined with a low price and its own compactness: only 8 cm in length and less than 200 grams of weight - fits in a jacket pocket. It is very comfortable to wear and a pleasure to use. Pleased with internal focusing and convenient zoom and manual focus rings. Just a must have for the traveler and any…

Pros
  • -Image quality - Focal length range -Design -Dimensions, weight -Low price
Cons
  • For this price, no.

What it is: Inexpensive wide-angle telephoto lens, ideal for bright outdoor shots (even bright sports photography) What it isn't: Professional lens, low-light lens or general-purpose full-zoom lens, otherwise image quality will suffer, even with image stabilization .

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Too good to be true, but true!

Others have said it more eloquently than I have, but I want to reiterate that this lens is absolutely amazing. The super-telephoto lens gives you long-distance shots that are usually overlooked, and is also great for nature/flower photography. A slow aperture isn't a big deal if you're shooting outdoors in good light. The only downside is that focusing is slow and autofocus can miss a lot, but I can't really blame this lens for being $100! I'll just let a few recent photos speak for themselves.

Great little zoom lens!

Got this for $99 during the Christmas sale. Definitely a great solution, this lens is significantly more expensive than this price range. I also have an Olympus 12-40mm PRO lens, and while it produces significantly better images (I tested the same shot with both at 40mm), the difference isn't as big as the price difference might suggest. Yes, it isn't. It opens particularly wide, so it's not suitable for shooting indoors or in low light. but if you just want a cheap compact telephoto lens I…

For a hundred bucks you can't go wrong with this lens!

You can't go wrong with this lens! After the standard 14-42mm lens, this is probably one of the most versatile lenses you can get for your camera. This will bring you closer to the action and the wilderness. I use my lens with an Olympus E-PL5 and my shots are taken without any filters or attachments. It does an excellent job at high-speed sports photography and even close-up macro photography. Update: I used this lens to capture the 2017 total solar eclipse. I was able to capture solar flares…

Great lens and great price!

Received this lens today and took it straight on a quarantine hike on a local trail. My main reason for this lens was to photograph the moon, but after quarantine I noticed birds a lot more often. I had a great time and caught quite a few birds with no problems. I saw a one star review here that said one person used a camera lens on a tripod in AUTO mode and it came out blurry. The lens is to blame. The lens wasn't a problem. Car is unpredictable. You can't rely on it using the right settings…
