I could just buy some of those little 3x5 spiral notepads to keep in my shirt pocket with a golf pencil, but this is more fun and 21st century. Given the price, I only have one gripe about this recorder: deleting files you no longer need is a ROYAL PAIN. I use it to record college lectures several days a week. This is great because you can date your paper notes and then just find the file for that date on the recorder when you want to listen to the lecture again. It's not a problem and it's great for the final exam. The problem occurs when the semester is over and you want or need to clear the recorder to prepare for the next semester.
