Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

The general opinion is: the lens is cool and worth the money. On the gh5s, there is not enough stabilization at the long end, but this is understandable - there is no matrix stub on the camera.

    Pros
    • The lens is very versatile - this is its super feature! From 24mm to 400mm! Where else will you find this? The picture on the video is quite good. It even seemed to me that it is sharper than the 12-35 / 2.8 that I had before it.
    Cons
    • The retractable trunk is the most unpleasant thing. In the range of 100-200mm there is a place where it is tight.

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

A very handy lens for shooting outdoors in the daytime or in well-lit rooms. Or if the carcass has a double iso, then there are no problems at all.

    Pros
    • - spread of focal length from wide to telephoto, which is very rare, especially for micro - quality of material / assembly - convenient focus ring - pleasant to the touch, comfortable to hold
    Cons
    • - Aperture, very dark, but with such a spread, you can hardly find something better

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

A very good option for shooting in good light conditions when you need to shoot with different focal lengths, especially when traveling. Some pros: Versatility - large range of focal lengths, from wide-angle to telephoto. Small size and weight. Quality workmanship, all-weather. Cons: Small aperture, especially at a large focal length, is less than that of the Olympus 14-150 mm lens. Stretched focal length scale in the range of 12-100 mm and compressed in the range of 100-200 mm. No focus bar.

    Good general purpose lens

I just bought an E-M5 Mk iii and wanted to take a travel lens with me when I travel and after reading about this lens I settled on the 14-150mm f4 -5.6 II decided 12-100mm f4 PRO, I chose this one as it fits in well between the other two and has an extra range. I sent it back for financial reasons but will definitely buy again in the future! The only downside was the image sharpness as I have a 12-45mm f4 PRO lens which takes great sharp pictures.

It's a great lens, but it's also a GREAT lens

Not exactly what I would choose for travel. It's a big solid lens, but with a focal range of 12-200mm (24-400mm for any SLR) at f3.5, this is the lens you've been looking for. It's not as good for birds as my longer 75-300mm lens, but it can work at both long and long range. and I am very happy that I have ONE lens that can do almost everything I need. I am very happy with it. Not light, but very high quality.

    Great lens for the money

I bought this lens for my M4/3 Panasonic G9. I wanted a versatile travel lens and this lens fitted the bill perfectly. This is a consumer lens, not a professional lens, so you can't expect the same clarity as a lens that costs twice as much. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality. I tested sharpness at 12mm, 100mm and 200mm and the lens did not disappoint. Everything is very good. Maybe not ideal for pixel peeping, but perfectly adequate for my travel needs.

Ideal travel lens for M 4/3

Thanks to the 16x zoom, I don't have to change as many lenses on my planned trip to Africa in July, especially as I sometimes find myself in dusty surroundings. An absolute plus is the narrowness of the weather, as we will be driving to the Victoria Falls. The pictures I took with it focused quickly and were quite sharp. The only drawback is the narrow zoom ring, which I quickly got used to. You can zoom in or out with the lens extended. Zooming out when it's pointing up is almost impossible…

    • Confident
    Cons
    • Modern

Purchased as a general purpose travel lens to use with my Panasonic DMC-GX85. To date, more than 1000 recordings have been made in all conditions. Overall quite happy with its performance as a replacement for the older Panasonic 14-140 MEGA OIS. On the downside, the major downside is that the zoom ring doesn't extend the lens when the lens is pointing up, and doesn't retract the lens when it's pointing down - fighting gravity is a problem for a zoom camera. In order for it to work smoothly, it…

    Really hot! yes, quite difficult!

I was looking for something like a universal lens for my GH5 and I have to say this lens is really good. It's sharp, heavy enough to offer good grip and stabilization, and can be used for almost anything from vlogging to landscape photography to portraits. However, he is not perfect. This lens doesn't do very well in low light when it comes to photos as it doesn't have a fixed aperture, the aperture shrinks as you zoom in, but you can work around this when shooting video. The zoom ring is…

I am happy and disappointed 3.5 stars

This Olympus M.Zuiko 12-200mm lens was put up for sale just before my trip to Europe, the zoom range allowed me to use this lens most of the time . Although I used the lens on my Panasonic GH5 and GX85 and not on an Olympus camera, I expected good and fast focusing. Almost 15% of my shots were blurry or out of focus; I can give some credit to the Panasonic focusing system, but it was about 5% with my Panasonic lenses. I've rarely been able to get a sharp image at more than 180mm when my photos…

. First I want to complain about all the reviewers who say this is "BIG LENS FOR THE MONEY". . Do you know what makes a really good lens despite the price? I don't care about these reviews. I want to know how good a lens is, not see disclaimers, that it's worth the money or that it's not being sold as a professional lens, or all the other caveats that people who don't know about it have. . What a good lens it would be if only it was a good lens, no matter the price. When is a lens just good and
