Great lens and camera system with one fault

I've had this lens twice because the lens hood got stuck the first time so I sent it in for a replacement. The second lens hood also got stuck, but I had good technical support from Olympus and this person explained to me how to use the lens hood properly. Slowly pull out the lens hood, and then gently fasten it to the right until it stops rotating. If it sticks, you must send it in for repair! Then gently twist it slightly to the left to retract, so that it is loose and free to move back. If…

Easily the best telephoto lens I've ever used

This lens is incredibly good. You can look at the reviews which will tell you it's good, but when you buy it you'll be amazed at the quality. This lens isn't sharp, but the detail is amazing. You can literally count the feathers on a hummingbird! I've used Canon L lenses with various 1D cameras, but when I sent my first shots with this lens to friends, everyone said how amazing the images were. Amazing telephoto lens

I haven't had a chance to get this thing out there yet (I'll try to update when I snap some real photos) but from what I've seen so far this is it thing amazing.
