That's it, my cat seems to be scared of him for nothing. But he liked the box. So there is probably nothing wrong with that.

I like the fact that it's carpet and not cardboard. I will not stain the whole carpet with paper. Both cats use it, but not as often as I would have hoped. I also thought it would be a little bigger.

It's not big enough for an adult cat to use vertically. My cats don't care, they prefer to stretch out completely on the sisal paws of their scratching post. Or my fleshy legs. Phew, cat! Your cats may be different. Most do.

I bought this hoping it would encourage my cats to scratch it instead of my furniture. That's less than expected. I have seven cats and none of them have used it. They will scratch the cardboard circles that come with other toys. I was hoping they would like this one too, but apparently they didn't.

My cat didn't touch it. It's very small, so it's not big enough for a cat to scratch while standing. The carpet on it is perfect for scratches. If you put it in it would be nice but my cat doesn't like it for some reason.

I use them to protect the corners of the sofa and bed. The base fits perfectly under the leg of a larger piece of furniture and gives the shelf the leverage it needs to stand firmly. Cats scratch the post instead of the furniture. I've bought at least a dozen of these and love them (more importantly 3 cats love them). They are definitely not suitable for individual scratching posts, but when attached to other furniture they work very well.
