not like the photo and very upset my kittens

The outside of the box shows a cat lying on a scratching post placed in a cardboard sleeve (as in the Revain photo). That's what I thought I got. I actually received a tiny piece of corrugated cardboard, maybe 4 inches wide, not in the sleeve (the box doesn't work as a sleeve), too small for my cats. Other similar disposable scratching posts I've bought are shown in the picture, larger insert inside the cardboard sleeve. I told my cats they were getting a new cardboard scratching post and I…

Long and (almost) free entertainment - it's worth it!

I purchased this product in February 2010. My cat is still very happy with it. My cat was almost 5 months old when I first gave it to her but I would say he is using it more now that he is almost a year old. I have to say I feel that since I've worn this product around him since he was so little it served as a distraction from scratching my furniture (that or he's a very well behaved cat and his constant mischief would be something suggest otherwise). Save the furniture!

I got this for my kitty when I first noticed he was starting to use the couch as a scratching post. Now she is 10 months old. and still stable with this little scratch box as it holds up pretty well. As soon as she started scratching the edge of the sofa, I just redirected her paws to the box and made scratching motions there. She seemed pretty easy to grab. Keep in mind that if you have linoleum floors like me, you'll need to put some kind of anti-slip mat under the box so it doesn't move…
