Missing Rubber Piston Ring

The rubber piston ring is missing from one of the two kits I received. This is what I need most: (Oddly, apart from the missing part, both kits are marked Omix-Ada, same part number but the pistons are different designs.

Pros
  • 5 Year Limited Warranty
Cons
  • Almost OK

Fits 2017 JK caliper pistons

Easy fix for the stuck caliper on my 2017 JK. Cheaper than a new brake caliper! Push out the old piston with compressed air, clean the hole with sandpaper, lubricate the new seals with DOT 3 and assemble. I used a brake piston press (a few bucks from Autozone) to set it in place. slowly and evenly.

Pros
  • Direct Fit
Cons

Works great, piston boot tip

My 2012 Wrangler's previous owner ran the brakes to the point of no pads, metal on the rotor. This caused the caliper piston to burst. This kit fixed it immediately with no leaks. Use compressed air through the brake port to help place the rubber boot on the piston. Install the boot, then blow air through the caliper as you install the piston into the boot. The air expands the cuff over the piston.

  • OE Part 68003882AA
Cons
