This is a good replacement for the OEM TJ Jeep water pump. The impeller is made of aluminum as opposed to the OEM impeller which is made of plastic. The sipes are positioned to OEM specs and feel very solid. The only thing I recommend buyers do is inspect the outlet port for excess pouring before installing this water pump. I took a dremel tool and chipped off the extra castings to increase the flow and it works great.

It has a metal impeller. Mopar uses a plastic impeller. Casting is average. But I think it's enough for a long life. The hole was not concentric with the ground. Not that it matters much, but it does give a sense of craftsmanship and quality control. I'll write another review if this thing dies before the 5 year warranty is up, which is a long time for a water pump. Everything else came and went.

UPDATE: Two years later and still valid. Although the fit and finish isn't OEM, I'm upgrading it to five stars. This fits my 03 Wrangler TJ as advertised and the installation was the same as the OEM pump. The gasket that came with it was cardboard, not a silicone bead like the OEM or Fel-Pro, but I applied a thin coat of blue RTV to the side of the water pump and sealed it tight.
