🚗 Enhance Automotive Performance with Omix-Ada 17221.01 Intake Temperature Sensor Review

Fits my Renault GTA intake manifold and with a small modification (removing the connector and reinstalling the old floating wire connector I have in my car) works great with the Renix II ECU . Cold starts are greatly improved and the bumpy ride in the first mile or so is gone.

Drove about 100 miles and got engine code 23 on my 1995 Jeep Wranlger 2.5L. I pulled out a new IAT sensor but there is no element. Put the old IAT back in and the code is gone. Terrible product, don't waste your money. Omix-Ada is usually good so I'm not sure why they have such a bad product. I am concerned about the consequences of this rupture in the air intake.

Used this on my 1990 Jeep YJ, made a special key out of an LSx braid. Worked great. I checked the resistance on the sensors and found an open circuit (should be less than 1000k ohms). Took it off and found the sensor element was gone meaning it had been sucked into my engine. I'm buying two more (not really a replacement) but checking out becomes scheduled maintenance. Two stars for work. Two stars for possible engine damage.
