Like most Omix Ada parts, it barely met spec. The hands are not set correctly, you have to do this yourself. It came out of the pocket, both looked like the letter V. Not even like the photo. Since they cost the same as many lift supports, this is even more frustrating. At this level of quality, they really should cost around $15 each. If it's true I hope they last longer than the last OA bushings we had on the jeep that died after about 600 miles.

This is dangerously low quality. The bushing fits so badly I had to spot weld it to keep it from falling out. You couldn't even bend the ring around the hub to stop the body from rocking. I read the reviews and ordered Dorman 722-024 from Revain and they are double the price but include screws and a spare spring bushing. They really are as close to OEM as you can get. Omix metal is only 0.125", 1/8" thick, while Dorman is 0.180", almost 3/16" thick. The ring is correctly formed, the sleeve is…

They are so poorly made that the bushings don't even fit properly in the bracket. There is a large gap between the sleeve and the ear in the pastern. The bushing has to be pressed into the eye of the shackle with a hydraulic press, but with this you can lower the bushing by hand and it will fall out. Omix-Ada's solution was to staple the sleeve onto the shackle! Serious! Your leaf spring is effectively pinned to your vehicle! I'm a welder/fitter and I can say quality control is EVERYWHERE! This
