OMP OA/1010 Racing Pedal Set for Enhanced Performance Review

This is a great set of pedals but make sure you have access to a table saw as I had to shorten the clutch pedal so I could shift or even start the car. I also had loops, but the other brake pedal and gas pedal fit perfectly, just a small adjustment

Amazing feeling and good support! However, the installation is not for beginners. The 240sx pedals were quite difficult to drill through and they work even better if you have the larger stock pedals. then you can let it sit nicely. Each of my pedals is attached with two bolts, and those two bolts on each pedal are more than enough to hold it up!

R53 Mini Cooper S pedals are pretty easy to fit and look great! Some parts needed replacing (2 bolts needed to be longer (accelerator pedal), 2 nylocks were too thick so I put flat nuts/lock washers). The brake is now big enough to switch between right and left foot. The clutch is too wide and I want the cut corner to be on the dead pedal side to make room, but I just need more practice. Consider a second set for a different car!

These pedal covers are cheap. With cheapness comes lack of quality. I would have preferred to pay more to have the holes machined separately after casting. Uneven height countersinks, some countersinks have a ridge protruding from the surface, some don't. Many of them had no filling in the diameter of the through holes during the casting process. It would be nice if you put a screw in these holes, but if you don't you can see it and it looks bad. I was expecting a bit more from the OMP, but…

If you are installing these as an aftermarket vehicle modification, you will need to drill holes in the pedals to install them correctly. It's also likely that the clutch and brake pedals in your car are steel which is difficult to drill through, so expect it to take some time (3 minutes per hole, with a good bit and drill). .
