Description of 🎾 Sweet Spot Trainer by Oncourt Offcourt - Optimize Your Racquet's Center Hits/Tennis Training Aid

The best players have the best ball striking skills. Whether you call it the Point of Contact, Sweet Spot or Center of Percussion doesn’t matter. Just know that most recreational players hit OFF-CENTER most of the time. Even at higher levels of play, off-center hits are the cause of the majority of errors. Of course, it is true that player movement and balance contribute to this problem, along with “head shifting” in the middle of the swing. Yes, balance and a steady head help players become good, and good players become better! But, it is not so easy to feel slightly off-center hits. This is the purpose of the Sweet Spot Trainer --- “The first live-ball training aid that tells you when you hit off-center!”. Great for coaches AND players!.

Need better feedback

The product fits the racquet well and helps you focus on hitting the sweet spot. However, there isn't enough feedback to tell whether you're in the middle ground or on the edge of the simulator every time.

Doesn't really help

The fit is good and the idea is great. I bought it to hit the sweet spot better, but to be completely honest. It really doesn't work. There is simply no feedback. I really can't tell any difference when it hits the fabric or the sweet spot. You might think it's bananas, but for some weird reason the difference isn't big enough to notice.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Upgradable

An interesting tool to improve your swing.

Interesting product. I've been using this for a few months during my tennis lessons and I'm definitely hitting the sweet spot more consistently. It's frustrating at first, because if you miss that coveted sweet spot, all the power is drained from the shot. But that is also important! There is a great incentive to get to the golden mean. I am also able to generate more force after the exercise equipment is removed due to the resistance the equipment creates (or lack thereof when the equipment is
