Not as easy as it sounds

These planes are pretty cool but take over a minute to build. You will also need a stapler to sew them together, which I didn't mention anywhere on the packaging. And the standard stapler does not fit all the places that need stitching. My son still likes airplanes, but this was definitely not the fun project I thought he would have.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

Funny end product

I disagree with my review. Airplanes are very difficult to craft, much more than a minute! But that's mostly because of the terrible directions. Ignore directions. Keep studying the final picture and working towards it. Got this for my smart 7 year old grandson and there was no way he could follow the instructions. So he and I work together on what I enjoy more. Once done, they fly surprisingly well.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubt

Really very cool. Except maybe a little more advanced than some.

Really very cool. Except maybe a little more advanced than some reviewers have led me to believe. Got these for my 8 year old nephew who insisted on starting with "red", one of the most advanced designs. My brother ended up doing most of the work but he really likes it so what the heck?! This set reminds us of something my dad had in the 80's, a set where you glued layers of paper together to make fancy paper airplanes. We had fun with it, although not so much for the nephew it was intended…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
