Electrical problem solved

Didn't know I needed these adapters until I had to replace my bathroom light. I don't know who thought a pin-based light was a good idea, probably the lightbulb manufacturer, but these days it's silly when LEDs are screwed into lightbulbs. If that was good enough for Edison, then it should be good enough for everyone else. Anyway, the price was cheaper than buying a specific bulb.

Worked well initially

Worked well initially but then I noticed that one of my lights went out. It will flicker from time to time. After several days of inoperability, I decided to disassemble the units and found that one of them had already burned out and the same thing was starting to happen with the second. Glad I caught it in time, otherwise it would have burned. Will never use these again

Stupid lightbulb creators change UI design. Fixed.

When did lightbulbs stop using universal design? Our lightbulb in the bathroom had burned out in the fan and I wanted to replace it only to find a stupid two-pin lightbulb. Thanks Revane, I never have to wait 2 days to turn my bathroom light back on because we have a supply of about 10 bulbs in the house. Now if it burns out, I can replace it quickly and without any problems. Seriously, who thought that was a good idea?

Great adapter fits lamp sockets

I wanted something so I could have a timer for the outside lights instead of a light switch when I'm away. The lamp that is usually included in this type of socket does not have a timer. I have found that with this adapter I can purchase automatic lightbulbs that glow in the dark and turn off during the day. I always have a light with me, it makes it easier to find the keyhole. I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about the dark when I'm not at home to turn on the lights when it gets

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED!

Imagine our horror when a lightbulb blew out in our bedroom and we opened the light to find we couldn't use regular lightbulbs! Whose idea was this madness? It has become the norm in our household to turn to Revane when we have an odd problem like this. So when we discovered this oddity in our lights, I came back here to find a solution. Thank goodness Revain almost always has the answer! We bought two (one for each bulb) and a couple of LED bulbs so we'll never have to mess with them again. We

Allows regular CFL bulbs to be used in a ceiling fan

Last year I installed a ceiling fan that used odd 2 pin bulbs called GU24. My first bulb just blew out so I decided to try these adapters to use the cheaper CFLs in the fixture. They worked without any problems and allowed me to use the GE Lighting 68511 Energy Smart CFL 13W (60W spare) 870 lumens. Light bulb with medium base, 6 pcs in the fan. I was worried about how much length they might add and whether they would fit under the dome, but they barely fit. I figured others might be interested…

Let's get back to ordinary light bulbs. One Nervous

These things aren't bad for effectively using regular light bulbs to replace those stupid pin bulbs I didn't know I was getting with my fans. It would be better if both worked, not just one. I have to shake/shake one of them to make the lightbulb light up. For what they're worth, it's not even worth returning, so I'm just sorting it out. Updated 7/13/17. Support contacted me about the buggy adapter and voluntarily sent me a replacement. Surprising because I didn't ask about it. I found it very…

Pros
  • 100% brand new, high quality. If you have any questions, please email us, we are here for you 24 hours a day.
Cons
  • Expensive

I received two packages and both were bad from the package. The pillars don't seem to be standing completely. It's not worth sending them back, so they end up in the trash. If you have $7 to throw away, this is for you. Edit: I'm revising my rating from a start to a five. The good people at Onite contacted me as soon as I posted the first review. They offered to send a replacement, which they did. I received a replacement earlier than expected. They worked fine. These adapters allowed me to…

Pros
  • This light adapter can replace a CFL with a regular Edisonamp bulb. No more desire for expensive lamps with GU24 base, never again!!! l

Love her. Solved my annoying problem.

Good! So I stumbled upon them when trying to replace the pesky 2-pin base CFL bulbs that came with the garage car lights I installed a few years back. Almost immediately, these bulbs began to oscillate and flicker, eventually failing to turn on without a sharp bang on the lights. I thought my wiring was faulty and felt a little embarrassed, but then I thought the bulbs were just bad. CFLs are meant to last, but they don't like being turned on and off frequently, so I thought (too long not to…
