Good! So I stumbled upon them when trying to replace the pesky 2-pin base CFL bulbs that came with the garage car lights I installed a few years back. Almost immediately, these bulbs began to oscillate and flicker, eventually failing to turn on without a sharp bang on the lights. I thought my wiring was faulty and felt a little embarrassed, but then I thought the bulbs were just bad. CFLs are meant to last, but they don't like being turned on and off frequently, so I thought (too long not to realize) that the bulbs might be the problem. Then I found these, which meant I could install my favorite 2700K "soft white" CREE LED light bulbs if they worked. They worked. I put them in, screwed CREE in and bam! Bright, flicker-free, inexpensive LED railcar headlights that are unlikely to burn out for many years. Owners of bi-pin compact fluorescent lamps around the world, that's your choice. Get rid of flickering, cold, fast-burning fluorescent lights and put in some standard LED bulbs. They work now, can dim, don't care if you turn them on or off, and should last for years to come. And if you want a warm light that looks like old incandescent bulbs, just look for the color temperature "2700k". Problem. Agreed Five stars.
