Clips that do what they say

I've used a lot of clips and they top the list. They have silicone tips that provide a compliant grip without causing damage. The spring force is strong enough for a small clamp. Will buy again if I ever get to 100!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Useless features

Revainrating 4 out of 5

the spring is not strong enough to overcome the friction in the joint.

I expected them to rust easily, but not so much that a small amount would prevent the spring from overcoming the friction in the hinge. The jaws will remain open (the spring will not close the clamp when released) when the slightest amount of rust or dirt is present.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Vulgarity

So many uses: Hand tools

Lots of pressure. It's not a wooden glue clip, but we use it whenever you need clothespins, a paper clip, or a clip for a bag of chips. I feel like every time I turn around I see them being used in a new way around the home. I don't know how we made it through 100 but today I'm getting my second pack.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad

Nice brackets. Everything I expected.

I would call them Standard Spring Clips. I have other stronger clips but they are great for what I need and the price is a lot cheaper than the HD. I put one on my finger and it's strong enough not to leave it for long. The rubber lining meets the requirements.

Pros
  • Spring Clips
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Great for the price

They are great for the price. Let's say you need 100 :) I compared them directly to the same size Anvil Spring clips at Home Depot (48 cents each). They are definitely not as durable and maybe a bit lower quality. I don't know about durability yet, but if you need a lot of these, the cost reduction is worth the slightly lower clamping pressure/quality.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Just what I needed for low pressure clamping

I use them to hold pieces of leather together while the glue dries and they are great. The pressure is enough to hold the pieces together, but not enough to pinch the skin. Plastic tips prevent scratches and rust (when they get wet) and make it easier to remove wet glue. I thought 100 grand was a crazy amount but now that I have it I wouldn't buy any less. I mean $0.17 a clip! How can you go wrong?

Pros
  • Clamps
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
