Works as expected in phone cords

I ordered this to use my Logitech headset with my work phone (Plantronics with a Cisco interface). The sound is crisp and clear. In addition, I spoke to others on the receiving line who also stated that there is no background noise and the sound comes through without distortion. Headset and cable are stuck. It takes some effort to connect; However, unless you remove the audio jacks frequently, you will never encounter this problem.

Perfect fit for my headset

I bought this for my work phone. I'm an IT admin and I have LOTS of 3.5mm stereo and mic headphones. What I don't have are many phone headsets that have yet to be delegated to my call center. But I still wanted to be called. Enter this adapter! Has worked flawlessly. Didn't really expect it to work as well as it does now - it literally sounds like the headset was designed for the phone. Wish it was a little cheaper but it works great! Now I just need a more comfortable 3.5mm headset becauseโ€ฆ

Cracked plastic RJ9 connector on both sides. I also mixed up the wiring on two contacts.

The biggest concern was the cracks on the plastic RJ9 connector. Something in the production process was clearly wrong. Cracks are visible without magnification and can be felt with a fingernail. It's not a cosmetic issue, it's plastic breakage that can eventually cause the connector to fail. Also, the arrangement of the pins was not identified in either the photo, the drawing, or the written description. If I could see the colors of the wires and their position in the RJ9 jack, I'd know rightโ€ฆ
