Handle with care - computers and accessories

I got the first one and as you can imagine the USB-C connector was crushed. Exchanged and second set arrived perfect and used with no problems. But it shows that you have to be very careful when plugging and unplugging the adapter.

USB C to USB 3 Adapter

Let me first say that I have no idea about the durability of these adapters. That seems to be exactly what we need as we have a lot of devices with USB 3 or 2 and devices with USB C ports, so we need this for different purposes. An example is a portable battery that only has a USB-3 port, and our phones have USB-C ports.

Goes great with USB Hub for USB to USB Adapter

I bought this to use with my Surface Pro which only has a USB 3.0 and a USB hub that uses a USB-C connector. So far there's no need to plug in an external drive or flash drive to really test the speeds, but still zero latency through the hub and this adapter. Very durable as the hub hangs on it.

For my usb to usb adapter tablet

I bought all sorts of connectors to adapt these mini usb and hdmi connectors to full size connectors so I can use the tablet on my big tv and can use the usual sized wireless keyboard and mouse on a tablet when I need them. Also bought a multi-USB connector to connect multiple USBs at the same time. I realize that I need a C socket to a USB plug. learned when I went along. This adapter has added to my much needed collection

No video transfer on Windows 10, transfer rate slower than USB 3 standard

I bought this adapter to use the USB 3 port for additional video output. In theory it should work, but not with this adapter on my Windows 10 PC --- my setup is a USB 3 port - this adapter is a USB-c to HDMI cable. The monitor found nothing. Also, this adapter didn't work well with my portable USB-C HD. While I consistently get >100MB/s copy speeds directly from my USB-C port, the speed with this adapter is a few MB/s. In fact, power flowed through this adapter to spin the hard drive.
