Excellent quality reusable bags! You can place biocarrier, charcoal, polyester or whatever you want here. They are easy to close and clean up.

I used them with lava rocks as a base for a bottom substrate in my tank and even when I was filling bags with lava rocks I only saw one small tear, that was not a problem.

Bought these for my aquarium on a whim along with crushed coral, luckily the holes are small enough to hold all the little bits of crushed coral and strong enough to wash and boil.

Mesh too wide for granular coal, washing out many small pieces. However, the big problem is that they are too thin and tear. Last 3 filter changes, all bags were torn and had to be replaced.

I paid about $7 for 10 bags so good value for money. I don't use the bag as an aquarium filter, I use it for my Mosquito Bits to make "MB Tea" for my plants. The bags are easy to use and easy to clean.

These are very easy to clean and use bags that everyone who has an aquarium should have. I use them to store activated charcoal and bio-media in a canister filter as well as two hanging rear filters. They're more suited to a canister, but still work well. I also keep a small amount of crushed coral to boost the KH for my shrimp and snails. It also holds up well. You get value for money and overall it's great value for money.
