This is about my fourth emjoi in 20 years. The first time with Mini. Works the same as larger models. They are amazing. I use them a lot and either the motor fails or the spinning trigger spool gets stuck. But on average they lasted 5 years. each, so I consider them good value for money. So usually I'm pretty cool about reviews, this is one of the few bad reviews I've ever given and I'm really angry. This thing doesn't even have the fine hair that I have and won't work unless it's attached to the wall with the short cord that came with it. About 20-30 passes and it can't even do half the patch test I've done on an arm or leg. I will return it and get a refund as this item is unusable. Don't buy if you don't want to waste money.

I have tried almost every hair removal product (razor, wax, depilatory cream and even laser) and this is my favorite. This is my second epilator. The first one, also Emjoi, was battery powered and worked well, but I wanted something that didn't require constant replacement of batteries. This is my first epilator. I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. Surprisingly, my shins didn't hurt at all, probably because I've been waxing them for a while now.
