EXPANSIVE 180 DEGREE VIEW - The Opteka 6.5mm f/3.5 Circular Fisheye Lens offers an incredibly exciting perspective and takes photography to a range that exceeds the ability of the human eye. Bend the typical view of your photographs and video to the extreme with the ability to capture a full 180 degree panoramic frame. That fishbowl angle, combined with the impressive 11.8-inch focusing distance, allows an incredible depth of field making the 6.5mm the perfect addition to your bag of tricks. HD SUPER MULTI-COATED OPTICS - In order to assist with the common and annoying problem of flare and ghosting, Opteka's Fisheye lens has been coated with a special layer above the optics to reduce this harmful effect. Additionally, a removable petal shaped lens hood is included reducing further the amount of light directly on the lens. This provides a valuable shelter from unwanted light rays helping you to capture ultra clear and vivid images. CONSISTENT AND SHARP IMAGES - Because a single aspherical element is utilized in the lens, this helps to reduce aberrations while maintaining a consistent illumination for sharpness around the entire image edge. Because there is so much detail in the frame of the fisheye with its wide angle view, this welcome addition is a helpful tool to create high quality and consistent images every time. DURABLE HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION - With an aluminum alloy lens mount, a super strong connection between lens and camera ensures your Opteka Fisheye will hold up against wear and tear and keep you capturing incredible images for years to come. COMPATIBILITY - Can be used on all Canon EOS APS-C cameras including 90D, 80D, 77D, 70D, 60D, 50D, 40D, 30D, 20D, 10D, 7D, Rebel T8i, T8, T7i, T7s, T7, T6i, T6s, T6, T5i, T5, T4i, T3i, T3, T2i, T1i, SL3, SL2, and SL1.

The lens seems massive and heavy, and the focusing is very smooth. There is no feeling that something is scratched inside. I also like the tactile feedback from the aperture setting. The lens comes with a small pouch and while the packaging was excellent, this pouch confuses me. It's packaged next to the lens and fits quite snugly. I don't understand how to use it effectively outdoors, but it can absorb other things. If you use this lens to shoot landscapes, mountains, buildings, stars, etc…

It is what it is. and that's good!

I have this item that is less than 3 days old. Originally I was looking for an ultra wide angle lens for night photography. I wanted to buy Rokinon 14mm but the price at the time wasn't what I was willing to pay for. I bought this lens as an alternative and use it with my Canon t4i. First impression, it's a big lens but it feels good. The build actually seems able to take a few hits and keep up, which is good in my case as I've been in the woods and mountains with a variety of lenses. This is a

I really enjoy this lens.

I have a canon t6i and normally like to use and shoot with 10-20mm lenses but decided to go with something wider. I decided to roll the $160 dice and give this lens a try. I figured I really wouldn't use it much, so didn't want to spend a lot of money. I've had it for about a month now and not only do I love it, I use it all the time. Let me call it the #1 for $160, it's a great lens and my only regret is not buying it sooner. #2 It's fully manual, so you'll have to focus it manually, but…

Amazing lens for the price with some minor caveats

As you may know, a Korean company makes this lens as well as several other lenses from different brands, all of which are identical. (Other brands include Rokinon, Pro-Optic, and Vivitar.) Other brands claim different focal lengths from 6.5mm to 8mm, but it's actually the same lens and I believe testing shows that the actual focal length and distance be approximately 7.4. mm. Don't let that bother you: these multiple but identical products actually offer a notable advantage as you can shop…
