They fit Canon 12x36 IS III

If you have a Canon stabilized 12x36 IS III you will find that you do not have front lens caps. They work. The outer lens measures 57mm on the outside. They fit perfectly and the inner ring slides easily onto the lens. I think it's a cheap product but they work and I couldn't find another easy option.

Very good quality lenses

I bought two sizes of these lenses for my old binoculars. Although they are quite expensive, they fit perfectly, are made of very thick rubber and are very durable. I have a feeling they will last for years. My old binoculars had covers that wouldn't attach, which was a problem. They fit perfectly on the lens axis and fold back quickly for viewing. It is very easy to close a backup and there is no way to lose or misplace it. I would recommend although I think they are overpriced.

That's more than stated.

My eyepiece diameter is 42.5mm but size 42/44 does not fit. I placed a thin film of Lexel around the inner perimeter to hold it in place. The retaining ring does not stretch and does not provide a secure fit for my monocular. Also, the strip between cap and ring is too short to fit through my adjustable eye relief. So I cut off the strip on the cap and made a longer halter out of 60lb braided line. Those complaints aside, it feels solid and well made. It's almost a rubbery silicone material…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

I bought two lens caps for two different sized Granite binoculars. However, this one says that it is suitable for 7x33. The other is 8x42. This one costs $24. The second costs $7. This turned out to be the same item (except for the size). None of them were stamped with the brand name. So for the price, this Opticron is terrible. "Optikron" was only stated on the packaging. And that it didn't fit was even worse. Yes, the rubber band part fits on the outside of the hose. But the lid is too big…

Great replacement for my Leupolds.

I bought two different sets of Opticron lens caps: 42-44mm Opticron (Model #31050) for my Leupold Katmai 6x32mm binoculars. For reference, the original caps were stamped 43.5 on the inside and made very cheaply, as if they were just a temporary shipping cover to be thrown away after unboxing. Binoculars. For reference, the original caps were stamped 48.6 on the inside and equally cheap junk. Both Opticron replacements fit perfectly and are made from a thick but flexible rubber material that…

Do not buy for Zeiss Victory SF

I took the risk of buying these to replace lens caps for my very expensive and beautiful Zeiss Victory SF 10x42. Zeiss makes world-class optics, but the standard lens caps were flimsy and fell off the first time they were hung on something. As mentioned in a previous review, the stylized look of the Zeiss goggles leaves only a slight ridge on the sight tubes to allow those covers to close. They seemed to work well with household lights, but during the first real birding trip, which consisted of

Leupold Yosemite 8x30 Binoculars: Measured outside diameter of lens was 43mm (old binoculars but I still use them a lot). These 42-44mm cases fit perfectly. Tight but easy to put on. Good quality material. These binoculars came with loose caps so it was a "must have" (wish I had done this long ago). I was thrown back by the price but when I got these cases they were worth it. The attached picture shows one side with the cap and the other side with the cap removed so you can see the natural drop
