Opticron Universal Binocular Case - Soft Neoprene: Compact Storage Solution for 4.6x4.9x2 inches Review

I have a Pentax UCF Zoom II and the 28mm porro prism fits perfectly. It's a precise fit from top to bottom and slightly loose from side to side. There is another review that says this case will not fit, but that was for the 25mm porro.

I ordered this as a replacement case for my husband's vintage binoculars. I had to return it because the size listed was wrong. Actual "working size" is only 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. I'm assuming they were measured from the outside seam to the outside seam which isn't the inside size you need to know if something fits. Looked like a regular product but we didn't use it so I don't know about durability.

Case works great for what it is. I also wanted people to know that the 28mm size barely fits the Opticron Discovery WP PC 8x32 binoculars with the supplied neck strap. If you were to replace the standard neck strap with a pendant model, which is likely to be bulkier when you fold it to fit in a bag, the 28mm model would be too small for a strap binocular. It would be nice if Opticron could make case sizes from 28mm to 42mm.
